  2. Dear Mary and Peter, Thank you so much for letting us all be a part of Rick's journey. You gave us the opportunity to reflect upon and feel the impact of this gracious presence in our lives. Rick and I spoke a great deal about the journey of the soul and he was absolutely sure that the soul is infinite. You and Peter are the most loving of guides for Rick and all of us who love him. I will always be grateful for your generosity and for your loving selves. Love, April and JP

  3. Rick,
The time has come for us to say good bye for awhile. We talked a great deal about beeing part of the same soul group so I know that this separation is just a temporary one. You once told me that you had agreed to come into this life to allow me to use you to grow spiritually and it is those lessons that will stay with me always. So until we meet again to plan our next life journey, rest well my beloved friend and know I will live the rest of this life in a way that will reflect all that you believed and taught me.

    To Mary and Peter,
Thank you so much for allowing me to spend time with Rick these last couple of weeks. He was a very special person who truly gave of himself to all he met. He will live on in all of us.

    To Kaitlyn and Justin,
Know that your dad loved you unconditionally beyond all else. He will watch over you and love you for all eternity.

  4. Goodbye, Rick! Rest in the Lord's loving arms. I very much appreciated the blog as it helped to deal with the grief. The family of Family Services Associates, both past and present, have been touched by Rick and we are better for it. Peace and comfort to all his family at this sad time of loss. You are in my prayers. Jim McSweeney

  5. Dear Mr. Stevens,
I highly aprecciate the help you have given me and my family. I will think of you every time I go fishing because of the time you dragged the Rapala through the bass nests to get a bite. I will think of you also when I play chess, or look at my rock collection. I hope for us to meet again someday. i am also glad you are in heavan and not sick, or in pain anymore. Ever since I met you we were best friends now and forever. I sure hope you got to see Little Girl Lost, because I could see how anxious you were to see it, every time we brought it up. I remember what you said, "I got a cell phone for emergencies now, so if Little Girl Lost is on, I hope you will call me." Say hi to My grandma for me. tell her that we all say hi and we love her.
    Your friend always,
    Carl Snapp
