Wow--it's Monday. I lasted through the weekend!
Woke up at 6AM and drank 2 glasses of water and snaafed (sp) down an orange popsicle. Had a lot of energy and spoke with my sister for almost 10 mins--is this the surge they keep talking about?
Jim visited (not sure which one!)in the afternoon
Tried out some fancy air-bed that was really uncomfortable--glad to get back in my old low-tech bed--exhausted!

I am very sorry to hear about Rick's condition. I remember Rick as a unique individual who did not say much in class, but you knew what he was thinking when he had a certain glint in this eye. Jim left me a call this morning about Rick's condition, and I just spoke with Chris, who asked me for your telephone number.

Rick: I was deeply saddened to receive a call from Peter Brown informing me of your serious illness. Reading your blogs, I can tell you have retained your sense of humor. I called Alejandro and Chris Flagg telling them of your illness. I have very fond memories of our work together at SU (counselor in residence) and FSA.
